EXPLORE BEYOND RANGE
Range was created as an in-house brand for Revir Oslo in 2020 with a focus on pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities. While rooted in boardsport culture, the goal was to go beyond the usual definitions and expectations.
The first products was a line of splitboards, developed in 2020, during the pandemic lockdown, when ski lifts were closed, and the backcountry became the go-to destination for snowboarders.
This timing shaped the brand's focus on adventure and self-reliance.
"Explore Beyond Range" became a tagline, and guiding principle for the brand, encouraging exploration and creativity without limits.
Beyond splitboards, Range expanded to include other products, with functionality, quality, and the upcoming adventure in mind.
EXPLORE BEYOND RANGE – SINCE 2020
Brand story from the Range website:
Range was established in 2020 with a vision to explore beyond the confinement of boundaries, genres and categories. We are deeply rooted in boardsport culture, but with a mission to venture further ... beyond range.
Our first product was a line of splitboards – fitting for a brand founded in the midst of global pandemic lockdown. With countries, cities, shops, nightlife, workplaces and most importantly … ski lifts closed down, we took to the backcountry, both on our own and with friends.
Explore beyond Range is more than a catchy phrase, it is defining words we live by and strive for.
We are not a boardcompany – we are whatever we want to explore, and beyond.
