THE OAKLEY ARCTIC CHALLENGE

PROJECT: THE OAKLEY ARCTIC CHALLENGE
TITLE: HEAD OF COMMUNICATION AND DESIGN

DESIGN: JOHN HARALD KNUTSSON
EVENTS: 2007 AND 2008

EXAMPLES:
DESIGN, TEXT, COMMUNICATION EVENT ORGANIZATION

Head of communications, with focus on core media, general public relations/marketing, design, and identity.

In 2007 Terje Haakonsen set quarterpipe world record at Midtstuen – the mindblowing jump was featured as Play of the Day on CNN.

Haakonsen soared to 9.8 meters in front of the gigantic viking sword that was financed by Oakley, a sponsorship secured through persuasive efforts and sketches on a napkin at the Oakley HQ in California.

Another example of ideas that are rooted in solid concepts and executed comprehensively – from tickets and signs to bibs and TV-screen graphics..
